Headin' to The Mountains and Wetzel Goes Solo

Good day folks-

We’re getting ready to head west- across the plains and into the mountains for a few shows. We’re looking forward to it- we haven’t been in the mountains in what seems like a long time. (I’m sure some of you mountain folk can confirm that).

But first some NEWS from the HD Front:

Big Al Wetzel Going Solo-

It’s true- sad but true. Big Al has decided to step out of the bass player uniform and play some acoustic tunes for all to enjoy. He’s been playing with us for 12 years!! His Big Al-dom and his Cowboy hat will be sorely missed- by us and by you guys too I’m sure. He’s going out with us for one final run- these next couple of weeks- The Farewell Big Al tour begins in Des Moines, IA " at People’s- on Friday night the 18th of June and ends in Mundelein on the 4th of July!

I’m sure we’ll see his mug around throughout the rest of the summer- who knows maybe he’ll do some opening slots for us!!! OR maybe we’ll open for HIM! Perfect. I’ll try to get him to do some Video Blogs over the next couple weeks with his "Favorite HD Memories" and "Most Memorable Magoo Moment"!!

So- anybody that has any old scores to settle with Al- you have a few opportunities to say Farewell!! You can also find him on the internets at " www.AlWetzel.com We have a whole bunch of new Merchandise- Big Greg has been working hard at getting a new look on the shelves and I have to say- he NAILED IT. Good stuff. Is it weird if 90% of my wardrobe has my band name on it??
