Peoria and Sheffield Garden Walk - July 16, 2009

Last week we spent a day in Des Moines working on a recording for our pals the Nadas... they are doing a cd with a bunch of bands doing a Nadas song- we picked one and rocked it out last week with Jon Locker and Tony Bonenkamp ... had a lot of fun.  We'll see how it turns out in the next few days.

Chicago Twang is coming along nicely- a few more tweaks while we wait for the artwork to be finished and then we'll offer the whole album on our site www.HelloDave.com for you to download before the hard copy comes out!!!  Yeee haw- can't wait.  I may throw another one of the new tunes up on the myspace page in the days to come...keep an eye out for it!!!  Now then.....

This week-

We're cruising to Peoria tomorrow- Friday- for a cool show at the riverfront.  Gates open at 7pm and the show starts around 8pm.  http://www.peoriariverfront.com/?section=14
Earlier that day... much earlier I'll (Himebaugh- singer dude) be on the radio with the Greg and Dan show on 1470AM WMBD.  I'll be on the whole time guest hosting ...hopefully making somebody laugh or cry or something.  We'll be on from 7-9am and you can listen LIVE- http://www.1470wmbd.com/ and hit the listen live button!!

On Sunday we'll be at the Sheffield Garden Walk- a great Chicago festival- with the usual great line up of music!!!  Great original bands (yea!!!) dominate the line up unlike a lot of the other fests in town!  We go on at 3:30 Sunday- followed by one of my favorites- Poi Dog Pondering!

Friday 24th:  HD at Czars in St. Joseph, MI
Saturday 25th:  HD at the Taste of Lincoln in Chicago!!!
Sunday 26th:  HD at the pre-game festivities of the Chicago Red Stars!  Toyota Park!  Then Himebaugh sings the Anthem.
