Summer in St. Charles

It's been such a beautiful week in Chicago- the sun has been shining and I even saw a star last night!!!  Dr. Everything came down to the city from his Suburbs yesterday to hang with me at North Avenue Beech before he attended the Zac Brown Band show- I'm waiting to hear about the show from him.. but I'll bet it was great.

This Friday night- the 20th we'll be in St. Charles, IL at a beautiful joint called Chord On Blues- (106 S. 1st Avenue, St. Charles, IL 60174-1909).  They have a great stage for music- the sound is fabulous and Big Greg will be there hocking t-shirts, cd's, hats and who knows what else... his bag of tricks keeps growing everyday.  

Saturday night we have a private show... I can't really talk about it but it's sure to be a fun one.  

Sunday afternoon- I (Himebaugh) am singing the National Anthem for the Chicago Red Stars at Toyota Park in Bridgeview!  It's a 5pm game and it's a lot of fun for the whole family.  The Red Stars are the kick butt womens pro soccer team- these ladies know how to play soccer! click here for more info on the Red Stars

Next week Magoo, Longbons and I will be doing a little Vocal Rehearsal Show :) at a place called Rockwood near Wrigley Field- it's Wednesday night and we'll treat it just like an old fashioned Wise Fools Tuesday night- somebody better come occupy the "tequila table"!  (It makes me shudder just thinking about it). click here for Rockwood info!

Then it's off to the VFW Hall in Wilmington, IL next Saturday the 28th!!  I've never played in a VFW Hall... good times shall be had!
